Set your Nanoleaf products up with Amazon Alexa. Use the Alexa App or voice assistant to control your smart home products easily.
How to Use the Nanoleaf Skill on Alexa
Try the following once you've enabled the Nanoleaf skill within the Alexa app. Just start with "Alexa..."
“Turn on [Device Name or Scene Name].”
“Turn off [Device Name].”
“Brighten/dim [Device Name].”
“Set [Device Name] to [%] brightness.
“Set [Device Name] to [Color].”
Set up Amazon Alexa on the device you use most often to control your Nanoleaf lights.
Create a ‘Group’ in the Alexa App called ‘My [Room] Lights’ to turn on or off all your Smart Lights in a room at once.
Name your device and Scenes something simple. Try ‘Bob’s Lights’ instead of ‘Robert Milliken the Third, Esquire’s Lights’.
How do I Connect to Alexa?
First things first, make sure you have the Alexa app, an Amazon Alexa smart home hub (eg. Amazon Echo, Echo Dot) and that your Nanoleaf products meet the minimum firmware requirements. Then read the step by step instructions below!/p>
