SDK Contest: Get Your Music Visualization Featured
One of our favorite things about the Aurora is how it inspires creativity and self expression. Each new setup we see is so unique to the individual, we absolutely love how personal each design is.
We released the Nanoleaf Aurora Rhythm SDK four weeks ago to open up these creative possibilities even more. We want to invite you guys to be part of the Aurora Rhythm launch in a way we’ve never done before.
Create your own Rhythm Plugin for the Aurora App.
The Open SDK is now live, and we are holding a Plugins Contest to see just how creative our Light Hackers are! Winners of the contest will have their plugins featured in our App once the Aurora Rhythm launches. A few mind-blowing plugins will be selected and added to our Rhythm scenes list, which will become available to all Rhythm users upon launch.
Developing an Aurora plugin allows you to truly make the Aurora your own and share it with the Nanoleaf community.
Our Open SDK has a number of examples to get your creative juices flowing. Create as many plugins as you’d like, and submit your source code through our developer portal to enter the contest. We will review the code and select a number of plugins to launch with our Rhythm (in addition to our official Rhythm scenes).
Winners of the Plugin Contest will receive:
1. A free Nanoleaf Aurora Smarter Kit (9 Panels, value US $200)
2. A free Nanoleaf Rhythm module (value US $50)
3. Official recognition in the Nanoleaf App as a launch partner (priceless)

Note that the SDK requires Aurora version 1.4.39, so please make sure you have the latest version downloaded. Sign up here to join our beta testers list!
