    How do the Solar Garden Lights work?

    Our Solar Garden Lights use Solar Panels to absorb sunlight during the day to store energy in rechargeable batteries. At night, the stored energy powers LED lights, creating a soft glow.


    Our Solar Panel module also includes a USB-C port as an alternative means of charging. The lights are controlled via the included remote and the Solar Panel, and are not connected to any other smart app.

    The lights can stay on for 4-8 hours depending on battery levels and sunlight exposure when charging during the day.


    On a cloudy or overcast day, your solar panel may not be in direct sunlight for long enough to charge properly and turn on at night. You can always supplement solar charging with usb-c charging if needed.

    On a bright sunny day, the lights require 6-10 hours of direct sunlight to fully charge. Cloudy or overcast conditions may increase charging time.


    If charging via USB-C, a full charge takes approximately 4 hours.

    How many Solar Garden Lights can I sync together?

    You can sync up to 20 Solar Garden Lights with one remote.

    Why are there so many remotes in the larger pack sizes?

    Our base kit is 2 Solar Garden Lights with 1 Remote. The larger pack sizes actually consist of multiple base kits which is why you receive multiple remotes.


    You do not need to use all the remotes. You can just use one remote to control all your lights, and save the others as spares!

    Quick reminder: Our Solar Garden Lights will not turn on during the day or when it is in bright ambient lighting. They are designed to charge during the day, and only turn on at night when it is dark.


    If your lights are not turning on during the night, press the power button on your Solar Panel – if the battery indicator does not flash green, it means that you don’t have enough battery to power on the lights.


    You should also avoid placing the lights near bright artificial lighting, as this may interfere with the dusk-to-dawn sensor.

    Comment fonctionne la minuterie ?

    The timer function (4h, 6h, 8h) will only activate once your lights turn on at night. You can press it during the day, but the countdown will only begin once your lights turn on automatically at night.


    Eg. You press the 4h timer button at 3pm. Your lights turn on automatically at 7pm when it gets dark. The timer function begins, and your lights stay on for 4 hours before turning off at 11pm.

    My battery doesn’t seem to be charging during the day.

    If you are trying to charge your Solar Panel via solar power, make sure it is in a spot that receives direct sunlight. You can test different spots to place your Solar Panel during the day – if the battery indicator flashes green, you’ve found a good spot!


    Try to identify the root problem:


    Solar Panel Placement: Double check that your Solar Panel is placed in a well lit area that receives direct sunlight. If the battery indicator is not flashing green, it likely means that the spot you’ve placed it in does receive enough sunlight. Move it around until the battery indicator on the Solar Panel starts to flash green.


    Solar Charging Function: Check that charging by solar power is working – turn on your phone flash light and shine it directly on your Solar Panel. If the battery indicator flashes green, it means your Solar Panel is working properly. If your battery indicator does not flash green under direct sunlight or a direct flash light, contact support for help.


    Ability to Hold a Charge: Charge your Solar Panel with a USB-C cable to see if it is capable of holding a charge. If your Solar Panel is not able to charge to full, contact support for help.

    The base of Solar Garden Light doesn’t seem very sturdy.

    Double check that you’ve used the right stake – the Solar Panel stake and Solar Garden Light stake look very similar!

    Some of my lights are not syncing with my remote or are no longer in sync with one another.

    Take the following steps:

    • Press the green power button on all of your Solar Panels to turn on all your lights.
    • Press and hold the RGB button on the centre of the remote for 5s to reset your lights. Your lights will flash red to indicate a successful reset.
    • Then press ON on your remote to check that all your Solar Garden Lights are now synced together.

    How do I get my lights to play the same Scene at the same time?

    It’s easiest to do this at night when your lights are turned on. Press the green power button on all your Solar Panels to turn on your lights if they are not already on. Then hit the “>” icon to manually change the scene playing on your lights. Do this for each Solar Garden Light set until you’ve manually set the same scene across all your lights.


    Once you’ve done this, you can use the remote to change the colour/scene playing on your lights in one go.
