As a Nanoleaf Smarter Partner product, it also works with the Nanoleaf App for firmware updates and additional lighting features like color-changing Scenes and Circadian Lighting.
How do I control the Caveman Smart Bulb?
You can control your bulb using your preferred smart home ecosystem, including Apple Home, Google Home, or Amazon Alexa with a compatible Matter hub, or with the Nanoleaf App. You can also use your existing wall switch to turn the bulb on and off.
How do I connect the bulb to my smart home ecosystem?
Install the bulb, turn it on, then open your preferred smart home app and add a new Matter device. Follow the in-app instructions to complete setup. Amazon Alexa also supports Matter Simple Setup.
What is a Smarter Partner?
Nanoleaf Smarter Partners combine their products with Nanoleaf smart lighting technology. This allows compatible products to work with the Nanoleaf App for firmware updates and access to additional features such as color-changing Scenes and Circadian Lighting.
What is Matter?
Matter is a universal smart home standard that allows compatible devices from different brands to work together through supported smart home ecosystems.
Can I control multiple Caveman Smart Bulbs at the same time?
Yes. Group multiple bulbs together within your compatible smart home ecosystem so they can be controlled simultaneously.
Can I use the bulb with a traditional dimmer switch?
No. Smart bulbs have built-in digital dimming and are not compatible with traditional wall dimmer switches.
How do I update the bulb?
You can update your bulb through the smart home ecosystem where it is paired. As a Nanoleaf Smarter Partner product, firmware updates are also available through the Nanoleaf App.
How do I reset the bulb?
Turn the bulb off for 3 seconds, then back on for 1 second. Repeat this process five times. The bulb will flash red three times to confirm the reset was successful.
