Yes! You can turn on Rhythm Scenes to see your Lines dance to music and sounds, and can use the Screen Mirror feature through the Nanoleaf Desktop App. That means the choice between turning your room into a bumping nightclub or a 4D movie theater is up to you. Either way, save us tickets.

Each light line can display two independent colors at once for even more customization. Use the Nanoleaf App to paint each zone, or watch dynamic Scenes dance across them seamlessly. Because you know what they say: it takes two to tango.

You can have up to 18 Lines on a single Power Supply. If you have more than 18 Lines, use our Power Supply calculator which will give you the exact number of PSUs needed for your layout. You can connect up to 250 Lines in one layout and control them all with one Controller Cap. If you use more than 250 Lines in one layout bad things might happen. The bad things being that it might not work.

Lines act as a Thread Border Router. This means that you get fast reliable control of your Thread-enabled devices, like Nanoleaf Essentials Bulbs and Lightstrips, with no additional hubs. Because additional hubs are like used tissues. We know that they once served a purpose, but having them lying around the house is kind of unnecessary.

Simply mount your Lines with the attached double-sided mounting tape onto any smooth and flat surface. To dismount, remove the Connectors, and then gently pull the end of Mounting Tape along the wall until fully removed.

The included Mounting Tape is NOT recommended for textured, porous surfaces (ie. wallpaper or brick walls), popcorn walls /ceilings, or mirrors. We probably don't need to tell you this, but it's also not recommended for sticking onto animals or small children...no matter how cool they would look decked out in RGB.

For a more secure installation, attach Lines to the ceiling with the included Mounting Plates, and secure with anchors & screws (not included). NOTE: the screw mounting solution is designed for SMOOTH surfaces/ceilings only (not popcorn ceilings. Or any type of popcorn for that matter). Yes! In the same way that you can group our other lights - through the Group Scenes tab in the Nanoleaf App. You could say they're definitely a team player. Go team!

Lines are primarily designed for ambient lighting. Each Line is 20 Lumens. So while they're perfect for filling your room with a colorful glow and setting the mood, we'd recommend against using the lighting to perform open heart surgery, or any other high stakes high visibility life saving tasks.
