Nanoleaf Permanent Outdoor Lights are Matter-compatible smart architectural lights designed to enhance your home's exterior year-round. Permanently installed along rooflines, eaves, and soffits, they feature individually addressable LED pucks, over 16 million colors, tunable warm and cool whites, animated Scenes, and smart controls through the Nanoleaf App or compatible Matter smart home ecosystems.

How many Permanent Outdoor Light sets can I connect together?

You can connect up to 147 ft (45 m) of Permanent Outdoor Lights to a single controller, making it easy to illuminate larger homes and longer rooflines.

How many LED pucks are included?

Each 16.4 ft (5 m) light string segment contains 10 individually addressable LED pucks. Every puck features three warm white LEDs, three cool white LEDs, and one RGB LED. The 15 m (49 ft) Starter Kit includes 30 LED pucks, while the 30 m (98 ft) Starter Kit includes 60 LED pucks.

Can I cut Nanoleaf Permanent Outdoor Lights to fit my home?

Yes. Permanent Outdoor Lights can be trimmed to fit your installation using the included splicer. If trimming the final light string, the cut end must be properly sealed to maintain weather resistance. Always disconnect power before cutting, and any cutting or joining of wiring should only be performed by a qualified professional. Do not cut or splice the power supply or controller cables, as this will damage the system and void the warranty.

How do I install Permanent Outdoor Lights?

Permanent Outdoor Lights are designed for reinforced screw-mounted installation on a variety of exterior surfaces, including wood, vinyl, fiber cement, metal, plastic, and concrete. The included 3M adhesive tape is intended only to assist with temporary positioning during installation and should not be used as the permanent mounting method.

Are Permanent Outdoor Lights weatherproof?

Yes. Permanent Outdoor Lights are built for year-round outdoor use with UV-resistant materials, IP65-rated light pucks, and an IP67-rated controller to withstand rain, snow, and everyday outdoor conditions. The power supply is IP44 rated and should be installed according to the installation instructions.

Very Satisfied! If only the also came in black.

Amazing pruduct, and superior quality than the competitors. Black Friday prices make them even more worthwhile. The only comment I would add is that I wish they had a black version available. I used black vinyl around pucks and cable covers prior to installing them, which was quite time consuming. That said, the outcome looks amazing.

I wrote a 3 star review before because the app just wasn’t good enough, but now I can say it is the best hardware and with the new customizable app its is probably the best permanent outdoor light you can purchase ! Well done Nanoleaf you’ve promised and delivered.
