Choose the Matter over Wi-Fi model if you prefer a direct Wi-Fi connection using a 2.4 GHz network.

What do I need to use Matter?

To use Matter, you'll need a compatible Matter smart home platform. Both models require iOS/tvOS 16.5+ or Android 8.1+ (or later) when connecting to a Matter-compatible smart home ecosystem.

Can I use these bulbs without a smart home ecosystem?

Yes. Both models can be controlled directly using the Nanoleaf App. Matter over Wi-Fi models connect using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi during setup, while Matter over Thread models use Bluetooth for setup before connecting through your Thread-enabled smart home ecosystem.

Can I control multiple GU10 Bulbs together?

This is such a well thought out product!
I was amazed by how strong the adhesive is and how well everything blends in!
The cherry on top is that you never get to see the light source, just its reflection.

So close

They are so close to being perfect. The only issue I have is they don’t have Apple’s Adaptive Lighting feature so they don’t stay the same color temperature as my other Nanoleaf Essentials.
