It features dual-sided lighting with front illumination and a rear ambient halo, 16 million+ colors, tunable whites, Matter over Wi-Fi connectivity, and intelligent controls through the Nanoleaf App or your preferred smart home ecosystem.

Do I need a hub or Thread Border Router?

No. The Ceiling Light uses Matter over Wi-Fi and connects directly to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. To add it to a Matter-compatible smart home ecosystem, you'll need a compatible Matter controller or hub for that platform.

Is hardwired installation required?

Yes. The Ceiling Light is designed as a hardwired ceiling fixture for everyday room lighting. Installation should be completed by a licensed electrician in accordance with local electrical codes and regulations.

Is the Ceiling Light bright enough to replace a traditional ceiling light?

Yes. With up to 2600 lumens, it's designed to provide bright everyday illumination for bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, home offices, hallways, and other indoor spaces. Brightness is fully adjustable through the Nanoleaf App or compatible smart home controls.

Does the Ceiling Light work with dimmer switches?
