The Canvas and Light Panels are not compatible with each other, and cannot be connected together.
The main difference, besides the shape, is that the Canvas is touch-reactive, while Light Panels (previously called Aurora) are not. For the full comparison, visit this article.

Yes, Light Panels can react to sound and music, using the Rhythm Module included in your Starter Kit.
Yes, Screen Mirror works on all Nanoleaf panels (Light Panels, Canvas, Shapes Hexagons) through the Nanoleaf Desktop App.
Simply mount your Lights Panels with the included double-sided mounting tape onto any smooth and flat surface. When you mount them, leave the ends of the tape sticking out so you can pull them along the wall later for a safe and easy removal.
Tape is NOT suitable for ceiling installations or textured, porous, or popcorn surfaces (ie. wallpaper or brick walls). For these types of surfaces, make sure to use the Light Panels Screw Mount Kit.

There are multiple ways to control your Light Panels: Controller (Turn ON/OFF, control brightness, change Scenes); Nanoleaf App for mobile or desktop; voice assistants like Alexa, Google Home and Siri; Nanoleaf Remote; IFTTT and more.
Each standard Controller/Power Supply supports up to 30 panels.
We do not sell additonal tape separately on our shop, but you can find the same 3M Command Tape at any local hardware or craft store.
Light Panels are not waterproof, so they can’t be used outdoors and we don’t recommend using them in high humidity environments (like the bathroom or near the sink or stove).
If you or someone at home has a history of epilepsy, please be very cautious using this product (as with any light-emitting device). The Nanoleaf App asks for user confirmation before playing any custom scene with patterns matching known triggers for epilepsy, but this is not a guarantee that this product cannot trigger an epilectic seizure in someone with a history of seizures.
Yes, a local network API is designed to extend your experience and allow you to integrate the Light Panels with third party devices and services, as well as enable more granular control of the hardware.
