What is the Nanoleaf Smart Multicolor Ceiling Light?

The Nanoleaf Smart Multicolor Ceiling Light is a hardwired smart flush mount ceiling light that combines bright everyday illumination with immersive ambient lighting. It features dual-sided lighting with front illumination and a rear ambient halo, 16 million+ colors, tunable whites, Matter over Wi-Fi connectivity, and intelligent controls through the Nanoleaf App or your preferred smart home ecosystem.

Do I need a hub or Thread Border Router?

No. The Ceiling Light uses Matter over Wi-Fi and connects directly to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. To add it to a Matter-compatible smart home ecosystem, you'll need a compatible Matter controller or hub for that platform.

Is hardwired installation required?

Yes. The Ceiling Light is designed as a hardwired ceiling fixture for everyday room lighting. Installation should be completed by a licensed electrician in accordance with local electrical codes and regulations.

Is the Ceiling Light bright enough to replace a traditional ceiling light?

Yes. With up to 2600 lumens, it's designed to provide bright everyday illumination for bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, home offices, hallways, and other indoor spaces. Brightness is fully adjustable through the Nanoleaf App or compatible smart home controls.

Does the Ceiling Light work with dimmer switches?

No. The Ceiling Light is designed for use with a standard on/off wall switch. Adjust brightness through the Nanoleaf App, compatible Matter smart home platforms, or the Nanoleaf Sense+ Smart Wireless Switch.

Can I control the front light and rear ambient halo separately?

Yes. The front light and rear ambient halo can be controlled independently or together, allowing you to choose bright functional lighting, ambient mood lighting, or a combination of both.

What do RG0 Eye Comfort and CRI 95 mean?

RG0 Eye Comfort helps reduce blue light exposure for more comfortable everyday illumination, while a CRI of 95 delivers vibrant, accurate color rendering so furniture, décor, artwork, and skin tones appear more natural.

Can I customize the colors and lighting effects?

Yes. Personalize your lighting with 16 million+ colors, tunable warm and cool whites, dynamic Scenes, schedules, automations, and animated lighting effects using the Nanoleaf App.

Does the Ceiling Light support Music Sync and Screen Mirror?

Yes. Music Sync reacts to music and sound in real time, while Screen Mirror extends the colors from your TV or computer screen across compatible Nanoleaf lights for a more immersive entertainment experience.

Can the Ceiling Light be grouped with other Nanoleaf products?

Yes. Group the Ceiling Light with compatible Nanoleaf devices to control multiple lights together, create synchronized Scenes, and build coordinated lighting experiences throughout your home using the Nanoleaf App or your preferred smart home ecosystem.
