How does the switch communicate with all the lights connected to it?
It uses a proprietary wireless control technology (protocol) called Nanoleaf Litewave. It allows the switch to connect to all your Nanoleaf lights (regardless of whether those products are running on Thread, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi) in a more robust and reliable way, for seamless, instantaneous control.
NOTE: The Sense+ Wireless Switch does require Bluetooth for the initial pairing with the Nanoleaf App.
