EXPO Display Case User Manual
Common Solutions
“The buttons on my control box are not responding! Some of my display cases are not lighting up properly.”
This usually means that some components of your EXPO case may not be installed tightly enough, or that one or more of your linkers were damaged during the assembly process.
To troubleshoot, first remove the controller box from your setup, and then use your fingers to push the LED module (back panel with the transparent window) firmly against the rest of the box frame.
If this does not work, inspect the linkers surrounding the display cases that do not light up. If you find that one of them broke during setup and have used up all the spare linkers provided, you can purchase additional ones here.
“I can’t seem to pair with the Nanoleaf App.”
When pairing, make sure you have Bluetooth turned ON, and that you are on a 2.4gHZ Wi-Fi network.
Unplug your EXPO Display Case, and then plug it back in to power it back on. Wait at least 30 seconds to ensure it boots up properly before you attempt the pairing process again.
If the power button on the display is not illuminated, perform a soft reset by simultaneously holding the power button and the “–” button for 15 seconds and then wait for 30s for the power button to light up.
Once the power button is lit up, you can initiate the pairing process in the Nanoleaf mobile app again.
“My Display Cases are paired but unreachable.”
On your phone, toggle the Wi-Fi off, then on again.
Unplug your Controller from power, then plug it back in.
Unplug your Router from power, then plug it back in.
“I am not able to pair my Display Case.”
- On your phone, toggle the Wi-Fi off, then on again.
- Ensure multicast, IGMP, UPnP (if available) are enabled on your router settings.
“I don’t see my Display Case in the App for setup.”
Plug your PSU into power. The Power button on the Controller will light up after 1 minute.
If the Status LEDs above your controller buttons are Solid White, this means your EXPO Case is ready to connect to your network.
- Make sure your mobile device Wi-Fi is on.
- Move your mobile device closer to your display cases.
- Toggle the Wi-Fi on your mobile device off, then on.
If the Status LEDs above your controller buttons are Flashing, means Your Wi-Fi is configured, but your EXPO Case cannot connect to the target network.
- Try to Power Cycle your Display Case (unplug your PSU from power, then plug it back in).
- If your EXPO Case is paired on the Nanoleaf App, delete the device and re-pair them with the Standard Pairing Process.
If the Status LEDs above your controller buttons are Unlit, means Your Wi-Fi is configured and connected to your router.
- Make sure your mobile device is on the same network.
- Toggle the Wi-Fi on your mobile device off, then on.
