Mounting Your Elements

Oberfläche vorbereiten

The Nanoleaf Elements should only be installed indoors and on a flat surface that can support the weight of the panels. Clean your surface to be free of dust, moisture and oil (1.1). The included Mounting Tape is NOT recommended for textured, porous, popcorn, and ceiling surfaces (ie. wallpaper or brick walls).

Prepare Your First Panel

Legen Sie ein Panel in Ihrem Setup als Startpanel fest. Befestigen Sie alle benötigten Verbindungsstücke, bevor Sie irgendein Panel an der Wand anbringen.

Connect the Controller & PSU

Stecken Sie die Steuereinheit samt Netzteil in einen freien Steckeinsatz des Verbindungsstücks Ihres ersten Panels. Stecken Sie das andere Ende des Netzteils in eine Steckdose, um sicherzustellen, dass Ihr Setup aktiviert und ordnungsgemäß angeschlossen ist, während Sie mit dem Anschluss Ihrer Panels fortfahren.

How many PSUs do I need?

Jedes Standard-Netzteil mit 42 W unterstützt bis zu 22 Elements-Panels (2 W pro Panel). Jede Steuereinheit unterstützt bis zu 80 Elements-Panels.Bitte prüfen Sie Ihren Netzteil-Rechner für große Installationen.

Montage Ihrer Panels

Remove the protective liner from the tape and position your panel into place. Mount your panel by applying strong pressure to the centre (this should be where the Mounting Plate is on the reverse side). Make sure to rub your fist in a circular motion for 30 seconds to avoid any falling panels.

Note

Make sure to leave end of the tape sticking out. This will allow you to safely remove them later from the wall.

Setup abschließen

Fügen Sie weiterhin Ihre Panels hinzu und stellen Sie dabei sicher, dass die Verbindungsstücke komplett im Steckeinsatz für die Verbindungsstücke eingerastet sind. Die Panels sollten Kante an Kante ausgerichtet sein und mit jedem weiteren hinzugefügten Panel aufleuchten.

Screw Mounting Your Panels on the Ceiling or Angled Surfaces

Wenn Sie Panels an der Decke oder anderen schrägen Flächen anbringen möchten, empfehlen wir die Verwendung von Schrauben statt Klebeband. Damit ist Ihre Installation sicher befestigt.

Mark up where your anchors will go. Position a Mounting Plate in place and mark up the 2 holes with a pencil.
Instal anchors (may need to drill a pilot hole).
Fasten Mounting Plate to anchors with screws.
Once secured, attach the panel to the Mounting Plate.

Neues Band hinzufügen?

When you need to attach a replacement tape to your Mounting Plate, make sure the tape is placed between the two holes. Leave end of the tape sticking out. This will allow you to safely remove them later from the wall. Visit our shop for additional Mounting Tapes.

Müssen Sie Ihre Elements abmontieren?

Gently snap off the panel from the wall. The Mounting Plate will remain on the wall. With one hand on the Mounting Plate, use your other hand to pull the end of tape along the wall. Do not pull perpendicularly or at any other angle, otherwise, you may damage your wall.
